expectations vs. reality. i often pass by this restaurant and was quite intrugued. they’re almost always full and the store looks busy. we dined here tonight and gave their kiampong a try. it tasted like rice cake, suman in particular. i liked the look of their shrimp kikiam from the posters but was utterly disappointed just 1 whole shrimp in it, the rest is made up of what seems like the fat of fried pork chops glued together. their maki (gaw-gaw) would have been better if it was served hot, if not steaming.
