Whenever I visit Pioneer St. Market, I make sure that I won’t miss the chance to drop by here at Thirsty Turtle. I love how they develop their own menu and drinks. I wish that they put another branch in Makati near my office 🙂
This branch that I will be reviewing is the Greenhills branch,same place as Bellefleur by Beatrix a place of great baked goodies.This is one of their bestselling flavors the Mango Banana Smoothie ,I went for this because these two are my favorite fruits.This drink is not the run of the mill shakes,natural fruits were blended ,with very lush coconut cream on top that made this smoothie more Asian and flavorful.The sinkers they added were the jelly and Nata de coco.And the price is reasonable,a great way to ease your stress while in the area.They also offered veggie and fruit smoothies for a more healthy variants.
Being a smoothie-lover myself, I can definitely say that Thirsty Turtle’s smoothies are a must-try. They boast these cold beverages made of fresh fruits and vegetables, which are very rare nowadays. We tried their Avocado Spinach Banana, Beetroot Pineapple, Carrot Mango and Banana Pineapple.My personal favorite was the Banana Pineapple as the taste of both fruits jived well together. For an earthy flavor, their Beetroot is there to quench your thirst. You can immediately tell that these were perfectly blended. Plus, you can top up your drink by ordering add-ons such as nata de coco and aloe vera.Interestingly, this store can be found in the same establishment of Bellefleur by Beatrix, which is a great thing since great food should also be in tandem with great beverage. Given the chance, I would definitely go back and try the other drinks.
I used to think that all smoothies and shakes taste the same. Before trying Thirsty turtle’s drink i already had a mindset that it will just be another refreshing drink but, i was amazed by how different their drinks are! Who would have thought that healthy smoothies can be so tasty and refreshing!My friends and i tried their Avocado Spinach Banana, Beetroot Pineapple, Carrot Mango and Banana Pineapple. Their mix of vegetables with fruits in smoothies topped with coco cream are perfect that you will really enjoy drinking this healthy and natural refreshment!Thirsty Turtle can be found inside Bellefleur by Beatrix at Unimart in Greenhills.
Tried their drinks three times already twice in pioneer and one in their cosignee bellefleur by beatrix in unimart. I had their Topsy Turvy Turtle(Mango Banana P105 Regular,P110 Large), Long live the turtle(Mango P95 regular, P100 Large) and their Sunrise Turtle(Mango Pineapple P105 Regular,P110 Large) on different occassions. I’m a sucker for mango and their shakes really hits the spot at an affordable price without compromising ingredients.I loved how you can taste the sweetness of mango and a banana aftertaste with their topsy turvt turtle. With the combination of Mango and pineapple for their sunrise turtle is a combination I would approve of. The sharp sweetness of the pineapple mixes well together with the subtlety of mango.Level up your drink by adding topping or addons to your drink with aloe vera , nata de coco or coco cream. For the health conscious and diet conscious, you could opt to lessen the sweetneas of your drink or order the veggie drinks they offer like the carrot shake. Drinks 4.5/5- drinks are superbPrice 4/5- price is affordable and wont skimp on you foe the ingredients Service 5/5- minimal wait time to get your drinks
Thirsty Turtle specializes in drinks that sounds healthy but also, tastes greatly. They have flavors such as, Carrot Mango Smoothie and the Avocado Banana Spinach. They sound different but the combination of the tastes work really well together. I wish I could’ve tried more because I’m really curious how the other flavors would taste like. I’ll do my best to drop by here or at Bellefleur by Beatrix to taste some more of their awesome drinks.I suggest you stray away from your comfort drinks, and try their healthy and refreshingly delicious drinks. I’m sure you’ll be glad you did. I certainly was!
