  Chance upon this unique restaurant amongst the normal restaurant in SM Marikina. I have learned about this restaurant through Zomato. I was trying to find a restaurant we haven’t tried yet in SM Marikina that has a variety of food (meat, fish and veggies) since my husband is a meat eater while me and my son fish and veggies only. We ordered Alfredo, Spicy Chicken & Mushroom Pasta, Citrus Pesto Salad and Pan Seared Salmon with Mashed Potato. We all love the food and the ambiance. Plus it has big servings not unless you are a super big eater (go to Vikings or Samgyeopmasarap). They were saying it’s good for one person only but it’s not wherein it’s good for 2-3 persons instead therefore the price it at par with the taste and serving size since it’s not a fastfood restaurant. It’s a fine dining restaurant that is cozy with a cool interior which houses the owner’s collection from his travel. We will surely try their other food next time most especially the dessert and appetizers. Hope you can add more descriptions in your menu or pictures. I had to ask your staff thrice what is inclusive in the food I was wanting to order.

  An Instagram-worthy steak place that offers delicious steak meals. Upon entering the area, me and my companions can’t help but to capture every calligraphy on the walls (credit to Marj of LittleMsPrinter), the tables are even adorned with American and Filipino designs, it also shows the Marikina shoe heritage. I loved how they incorporate the shoes and valued the quality of shoes being made from Marikina. No, this is not a shoe place but definitely a place to meet and eat good meat with your families and friends.Roberto’s offers quality premium meat – 100% Australian Beef and with an omnipresent Western Flavours among its menu. They also include variety of chicken, ribs, seafood, and pasta dishes. We were served with Grilled Chicken Fillet (P340), Roberto’s Grilled Pork Loin (P260), Salmon Pacifica Brulee (P395), Pico de Gallo topped with Grilled Salmon (P395), Peruvian Steak (P350) and Porter House Steak (P395). The prices are quite reasonable because serving is generous and also good for sharing. The dishes are paired with rice, mashed potatoes, veggies, and grilled apple.Roberto’s is located on the 3rd floor of SM City Marikina. nhengswonderland.net

  I was quite hesitant to try since there weren’t much people dining, especially during peak hours like lunch. People bustling in at other places like Shakey’s, but not half of Roberto’s tables were occupied. I was concerned but my boyfriend wanted to try out their steak so we went ahead and tried it. Ambience was good. Even though there weren’t much people, there wasn’t that “awkward” vibe about it. It was a chill vibe which I really appreciate. The staff was quick to respond so we were able to order immediately. One tip is that they could’ve been more perky or lively, despite the lack of people so you can feel accommodated and welcomed. Food pricing was similar with other restaurants I’ve tried, but the quality was only average. I felt that it was a bit pricey compared to the quality of food I was getting.My boyfriend ordered the Porter House Steak with Rice which was priced at P395. The amount in the place was “just right,” but the plating could’ve been better. Although the taste was a bit “dry” for a steak that was done medium rare. I ordered the Salisbury Steak with Mashed Potatoes. I enjoyed mine since it was juicy as expected and the amount was just right. But for the pricing of P350, I could’ve had more food/drinks if I had dined in at Kenny Roger’s with that amount. Overall, the dining experience wasn’t that bad but wasn’t amazing either. It didn’t leave an imprint in my palette that would have me going back, especially since I can get more quality and amount of food for the same amount of price with another restaurant like Shakey’s and Kenny’s.

  I don’t even want to give them a single star. We didn’t stay to eat. It was Mother’s day so I understand there are a lot of customers. We waited for 2 hours to be seated. I had to ask always what number they are taking in, since the lady in charge never voluntary update. When our number is 5, i ordered in advance to be faster. Finally seated at 1:30. They didn’t even bother to fix the table, not even water. Already 2:45 no food yet. All they were able to serve is salad(solo). We reminded the crew of our order, she just said ‘ok mam’. We called the attention of a lady who seemed to be the manager. But nothing happened. Unfortunately both my husband and I are diabetic. Our sugar is going down already. We left without eating. Bad service, untrained crew, untrained manager,dirty toilet. Dirty lavatory. I see the reason why your place is always empty. This is the time to shine yet you did not see the oppurtunity

  Branch: SM MarikinaFood arrived very late because the server did not give our orders to the kitchen on time. Even with repeated follow-ups, the server still did not look into our orders and just focused on another group that arrived later than us. No effort to compensate the hassle, the manager just said “pagbalik po ninyo, babawi po kami” which does not make sense because we will never return to this resto again. Price is not commensurate to the quality of the food either.

  Polite and friendly staff tho a little difficult to get their attention. The steak was average. Loved the lasagna and the soup that we ordered. Overall the place was not crowded and the good for dinner with friends
