All table tops at the ground floor are designed with board games like chess, snakes and ladders, and a lot more. They also have game cards, mind games, and many other old time favorite indoor games.Why was it named DAWG?1. A slang term used to identify someone you would usually hang out with; a close friend.2. A fancy boardgame cafe that offers great ambiance and affordable food.Located along Lilac Street in Marikina, Dawg’s offers the experience of huddling together with friends for a couple of games while you enjoy your grub.We got to try their Filipino breakfast platter, which is dried fish, salted egg, and tocino with fried rice. Not bad for those opting for a fuller meal or to those who haven’t had breakfast yet.The hotdog sandwiches namely the NY Street-Style and Philly Cheesesteak were good! Not only did it come with fries, the hotdog itself was meaty and had a good proportion compared to the bun.My fave was the Dips Roulette, which is assorted finger food of chicken nuggets, fries, tortilla, that had a roulette of different flavors of dip. It serves around 2 to 3 hungry people and a must have for those wanting to enjoy a good experience here.I enjoyed the Mac n’ Cheese–event went so far as to dunk the tortilla in it! Their Milktea Tower was huge! But the resembled instant milktea mixes, that would do if you’re not a savant for the hype out there. The milkshakes on the other hand were enjoyable. It was sweet, cold, creamy and refreshing.Overall, a great place to hangout with friends up for a game night as well as good food.
