January 24, 2018The boyfie and I went for a meeting at SM Aura to discuss plans for an upcoming event. We agreed to have an inexpensive dinner so we went to the foodcourt. Since we have tried almost all the food stalls, we went for something we haven’t yet. I ordered what looks good for the buck Spareribs Sizzling (Php 130). It was quite filling. Since we didn’t dine in fancy resto, the standards are rated accordingly.
Waste of My MoneyTerrible steak experience for me. So many parts are inedible. No tenderness in most parts of the meat. Everything is just a sizzle. You will feel very bad for what you’ve purchased.
Went here a while ago and forgot to review it. But I do still remember my order, I got the pork steak. It wasn’t bad. For the price, I think it’s okay. Nothing spectacular. But I was hungry at the time and I just stuffed myself with it.
The rice had two strands of hair in it. Eating in Sizzling Plate is a big MISSED STEAK (as their wall art says). Never going back. They don’t even give out reciepts. Someone call BIR?!
One of our four restaurant stop last night was a hot item. Not so much of its taste but of its default presentation- all on a sizzling plate. There were a barrage of options presented to us. Like I wanted to pick the Omelette with beef. We wanted to pick more but our stomachs can only take so much. So we ended up with just 2 for the 2 of us. We got their best selling Pork Steak and Father’s Day promo of Beer Braised Chicken. The first was typical. It was good that it was lean and without much fat. It was bad that the gravy had an overpowering butter in it. The second was bitter. The charcoal paired with beer marinated chicken wasn’t exactly the best combination. Good thing this was only Php 140. alwayshungry.ph
I’m not much of a fan of sizzling dishes, but I’ve enjoyed this restaurant’s sizzling pork steak (I being a pork-chop lover). Aside from having some of the cheapest prices at the Food on Four, Sizzling Plate’s dishes likewise have big servings. As such, one shouldn’t expect that the steaks are comparable to the premium beef parts imported from Australia. Suffice it to know (and taste) that this store sells a variety of sizzling meat at reasonable and affordable prices.
My husband had a decent page of sisig with rice here for only P150. The food was nicely presented on the counter so you could see exactly what you’d be getting, which was helpful and a good selling point.
