Angel’s Kitchen is a little neighborhood kitchen cafe located around the quieter side of Greenhills. It’s the area’s original Mary Grace where you could find a lot of Fil-Chi aunties hanging out. Try their Ostrich Salpicao!
Having tried weekend breakfast at a # of places in makati, BGC and Ortigas (memorable ones are 1771, Papa Diddy’s, Dean & DeLuca, Refinery, Early Breakfast Club) we decided to scout such places in Greenhills. Almost the first resto that came up was Angel’s Kitchen, and the place was packed by 7.30am. Luckily we arrived a little earlier and got a table. We had Wagyu Beef Tapa and Baked Bangus Tinapa. Both came with rice, sunny-side-up egg and atchara. And we had a choice of coffee or orange juice. Beef Tapa was excellent, tender and very well marinated. Bangus Tinapa was very good too.So make a beeline here on Sunday and reserve your table ahead of time!
This small dainty restaurant does not underdeliver on flavor. Must order is the binagoongan! Portions are good for 2. The sauce is good enough paired with steaming hot rice! They have a wide array of dessert selection too! A bit pricey for me. Parking is also sometimes hard.
Good ambience, good service, and ok food. Their food was good but it wasn’t anything great, or at least the ones I’ve tried weren’t. I also felt that their food was a bit overpriced and didn’t live up to expectations.Hopefully, I’ll be able to have a better experience here in the future!
While their menu looks very impressive, sadly the outcome was far from the expectation. The squash soup tasted burnt. The seafood chowder was really good. The ostrich salpicao was literally just okay. It was just like any other normal salicao. Nothing specialzThe crab fat pasta was regrettable. Pasta is bland, the softshell crab was sooooo ordinary. They might be just okay but it did not serve justice to the price, which is really over.
Breakfast with friends and decided to try the Bangus and Sardines in Olive Oil. The fish was fresh and flavorful! No fishy taste at all. It’s an excellent meal especially if you’re not planning to have an early lunch because it’s filling. The service and ambiance here is good. Nothing much to complain about.
Ordered the hawaiian bbq pork ribs and seafood chowder. The ribs were good, it was tender and the sauce was sweet. The chowder was good as well, although both were a bit expensive for the serving size. We also bought salted egg chips (original and spicy) at Mi Casa, their gourmet store. As a fan of salted egg chips, I have tasted several brands. The chips were a big disappointment, it was very bland, you can hardly taste any salted egg flavor. Some potato chips pieces were also a bit hard. Ambience was okay, interior was simple. Might come back to try their desserts.
