As much as we love eating ice cream, sometimes it's too much of a good, dairy-rich thing. Bingsu is refreshing on a hot day but it's also great to be …

Place was bright and clean. Pay as you order. Kind servers. Played 5 k-pop videos on loop HAHA I liked the Bingsu this place served!Injeolme (regular size)• (my order) i really enjoyed this! Every bite I had had the powder and some nuts (almond and cashew.) very refreshing and good for it’s value. I also appreciated how the condensed milk is to the side, because you really don’t need to add any more!Milk Red Bean (regular size)• was good but wouldn’t order again as per my dad HAHA i didnt get to try this but I’m sure it tastes good. He just prefers his usual order of mango bingsu.
Awesome Korean experience! Staff are very nice and hospitable. The place is also cozy and very bright. Love the interior!! Now off to the food: for their bingsu, there’s a lot of flavors to choose from. But my favorite is their Banana Mango. It’s the bomb. Their tteokbokki tastes great too!!! ❤️
I think this is the first time I tried bingsu since the hype started. Great alternative to ice cream especially this summer season.I ordered the mango since it was a safe choice and one of my favorite fruits. The regular is good for 1-2 person already. Sweet but not too sweet. The mango is a little sour though.
I tried their Cheese Bingsu. It was generally good, almost the same as hobing, the shaved ice was smooth and milky, with generous amounts of some nuts and parmesan cheese around the bingsu. The only downside here, at least in my opinion, was that the cheesecake was a little too frozen and bland. It didn’t taste like cheesecake to me, it tastes more like bland cheese cubes. Nonetheless, it was great because after all, I’m after the shaved ice. Service was also great in this branch.
Fave korean bingsu place! Better than the large franchise ones!Try their Strwberry Bingsu, Cheese Bingsu, Mango Bingsu, and their Matcha Bingsu!
The place has limited seating capacity, but you are welcome to sit outside since they are in a food court set-up.We tried their cheese bingsu and we got the smaller bowl. But mind you, they have big servings so the small bowl was enough for 2 people. However, if you have a bigger appetite and a sweet tooth, you may want to try the bigger bowl. This was our first time to try bingsu, and the shaved ice was milky and almost powdery it didn’t feel like shaved ice. It was smooth, and they are generous with your chosen topping. They even placed a bunny shaped ice cream on top.The place is bright and cheery and their TV plays Korean music videos.Their self-serve water had mint leaves which was very refreshing. Some may say that the price is a bit expensive, but they don’t scrimp on the ingredients and one serving is actually good for sharing. The place is also a cute venue for that after-movie bondinf with your oppa.My friend absolutely recommends their mango bingsu, but since I am not a fan of mango, I ordered the cheese instead.
I’ve been trying out and still searching for the hands down bingsu/halo-halo/kakigori/baobing in Manila. So far, as of this review, I’m leaning towards Ikigai Kakigori in Tomas Morato. But this particular restaurant is by far the creamiest milk I’ve tasted for a bingsu. Could be milkier but it’s alright milky.THINGS I ATE: Mango Cheese BingsuInjeolmeGreen TeaMilk Red BeanVery Berry(1.8/5) FOOD REVIEW:(3/5) Milk – It is right now the cremiest bingsu around Manila that I’ve ever tasted. Could be a little creamier but I love how this Bingsu shop makes it creamy than others in Manila.(3/5) Mango Cheese – Filipino mangoes are the best. Sweet and just right. The cheesecake is better tasting than Hobing. I wish I could have more but better quality means less cheesecake. It’s not really pure cheesecake but it’s good to have it on top of my bingsu.(2/5) Injeolme – Injeolme is supposed to be a mild flavor. Injeolme is just a Korean version of mochi (Japan) or tikoy. It’s covered in roasted soy beans. I wish I could’ve had more of the rice cake though since it’s really mild.(1/5) Matcha or Green tea – Not high quality matcha. Not the best matcha for bingsu. Ikigai Kakigori is the best for me. It’s a Japanese version of Bingsu/Halo-halo or whatever you call it.(1/5) Milk Red Bean – Not the best red beans. I am really picky with my read beans since a lot of people serve it tough to eat. Ikigai Kakigori serves the best for me.(1/5) Verry Berry – Stay away from this. Unless you get your berries abroad, it’s really sour and not fresh. Especially the frozen blue berries!(2/5) SERVICE REVIEW:Water is self service. You can get extra plates on the side, always available. Went here several times. When the apparent owner is managing, she gives you the most splendid service! Thinks about the customer before we’ve been able to even think that we’d need it. There is no extra charge whether you like icecream or whipped cream on top. However if you’re with a Filipino staff, they don’t know about the icecream thing. They served me whipped cream instead so I had it changed. Because it took so long, it was melty when it reached my table. The extra cups on the side where you can get some if you’re sharing it with other people is often wet! They once dropped the cup and went inside and put it there. I have doubts they clean it properly, I hope they did.(2/5) AMBIANCE:Interior is light and bright; there is a good use of lighting. Laminates make a place look cheaper so sorry for that. Additionally, since it is a small place, the irregularly shaped lamps made the place feel bigger. It’s a really small place inside the Promenade so if you’re out of chairs, you need to sit outside. That means your bingsu will be melty, especially if they don’t find you amidst a busy day!(1.9/5) OVERALL:It’s better than Bon Chon. Definitely. If you are new to Bingsu and have tried Bon Chon, this is a nice upgrade. Not the best quality toppings but it’s never bad to have Bingsu during a hot day.
