First time to try this they dont have change for 1k so ndi ako pinagblhan. 2nd time im asking for the price wala sila menu for that. So i buy a burrito and quesadilla nasobrang mahal compare for mexicali or army navy. Ndi din masarap food nila. Not worth it. Humingi ako ng receipt yan lng nilagay nila wala mang lang nilagay na kung magkano ang burrito. Now i check the pricing burrito nila 229 tas quesadilla 199 pano umabot ng 539. Then ang sungit pa ng may ari. Not recommeded.
Been wanting to eat in here because from what I’ve heard their food is “tasty”. I was disappointed when I found out that you can’t even order a single meal from them! You have to order their packed meal which is soooo pricey! Everything in this restaurant is overpriced! Plus the girl (I think she’s the owner), is not even smiling! Not recommending this place!
I don’t usually go to Zomato and I’ve never made a review but since I’ve had /the/ worst lunch so far, here I am. Whenever I choose to eat at a Mexican restaurant, I always order quesadilla, and tacos/nachos. So when my boyfriend and I chose to eat at Kamicos a while ago, we ordered the platter with 3 tacos, 1 quesadilla, and 2 iced teas for 500 pesos. He gets the tacos and I get the quesadilla, we split the bill. I was expecting our food to look like the picture from the menu, but damn waS I DISAPPOINTED. Tacos are small, the shell looked like it has been stored for weeks now. And the quesadilla,,,,,,,, the queSADILLA looked so bad. Pita even smaller than what people use for regular sized shawarma, each slice fits my palm. NOT EVEN WARMED. Beef was soggy, cooks didn’t even drain the excess water after it had been defrosted, making the pita soak in its water. SAD. Not sure if they now how to cook quesadilla since only the beef and cheese were inside while the tomatoes were,,,,, on top??? after folding it???? unless they actually,,, forgot the tomatoes??? Food was on a foil paper plate with folds. The staff probably thought it looked bad so they added like 4 nacho chips to make up for the horrible presentation LOLI’ve never been so disappointed with food, I can’t believe I pitched in 250 for /that/. Could’ve just gotten siomai, or a burger, or milktea. Or all three. People were right when they said the reason Kamicos is still open was because of the nostalgia. Close or make your food better pLEASE :((( Food quality sucks, sana nag kwek kwek nalang ako sa tabi. Unfortunately, I don’t have pictures to upload. Guess I was /too/ disappointed with the food served in front of me I didn’t know how to react lmao. Sorry this turned out to be more of a rant rather than a review, had to let this out. Peace!
When I was a kid, I remember dining here with my parents and as far as I can remember, their tacos were amazing! So as an adult, I made sure to pass by here and order their famous tacos out of nostalgia. Recently, my brother and I wanted to order their tacos after strolling in greenhills. When we were ordering 2 pieces of tacos, the owner said that they only offer group meals. My brother and I only wanted 1 order of tacos each but still she refused to take our order and insisted the group meal. To top it off, we were quoted 600 pesos for 2 tacos and 1 order of nachos. Is it worth it, definitely NO. So we walked out and the owner couldn’t care less about it.I’ve read similar reviews here and in other sites. To be honest, I think people just wanted to eat here out of nostalgia. THAT’S IT. If you think about it, their tacos is just ordinary (they use cabbage instead of lettuce). I can forego the price increase or their mandate of having just group meals but the SERVICE is another issue. The owner is not friendly and somehow needs to have a refresher on Customer Service 101. With that kind of service, they lose customers who want to buy a piece of what they claim to be the “best tacos in town.”
Overpriced, overrated and poor service. They have been around for a long time but the quality of the food did not improve and the poor customer service is still the same.
Kamicos is regarded as a legend in the historic lore of old school Greenhills. But aside from the food, this food stall has gained a nasty reputation throughout the years not for their food but for the bad customer service and haughty attitude of their hands-on owners (especially the female one). People on social media have shared their negative experiences with Madam Kamicos. The food is overpriced too. I noticed in my recent visit that they are now selling their food in set packages that will set you back at least 500 pesos. Their menu does not show the price of their food in ala carte or solo meals. I was brave enough to ask how much their nachos was and it was around 300++. Add Mt. Dew ans my total order was almost 500 pesos. Pricey indeed. The nachos were okay but I’ve had better and cheaper. And with better and friendlier customer service from the food servers. I guess this was my last time to eat at Kamicos. I won’t be missing it.
The tacos were good and the pizza were okay. However my first time would have been nicer if the old lady who’s taking the orders was warmer and friendlier. She’s sungit and didn’t even smile the whole time.
