I always knew Tita Paring had the best suman. The sweet sauce is delightful and the suman itself soft and wonderful. But what caught me by surprise was their dinuguan. It was so delicious that I couldn’t resist ordering 2 more orders to take home with me. Lastly, the location of Tita Paring in Shoppesville is quite a wonderful surprise, a momentary relief from the hustle and bustle of the weekend Greenhills crowd.
A must try whenever you’re in the Greenhills Shoppesville area. This simple food has amazingly withstood ages. Their suman is just right, it’s actually even in the soft side. It’s soft but you know it’s perfectly cooked. The latik is a tad bit too sweet at first, but as you continue eating you’ll realize that it actually compliments the suman very well.
I love their suman especially the sauce. I could finish 2 servings in one seating. I hope that the suman would stay fresh without being refrigerated for 12hrs.
Tita Paring’s Suman sa Latik – it’s the Filipino all time favorite meryenda. I guess this is best paired with coffee or hot chocolate then it’s perfect!!!
