I’ve eaten here before without gold and the serving sizes seem fair, that said, they do discriminate against gold users. I tried to sit somewhere to be told the area is closed, but another group that came after was allowed despite the available empty tables. Also the zomato gold menu is this one page menu about half the size of a sheet of bond paper. And they add an additional zomato gold rule, NO LEFTOVERS. First of all is this a buffet? Secondly, what if your food doesn’t taste good?Hito with sweet mango sauce – basically 3 pcs of smallish fried hito, green mango salad, and jufran sweet spicy sauce.Adobe rice – in the menu it says kids favorite, it is for kids, considering how salty it was adults shouldn’t eat this for fear of high blood pressure.I also got the melon pitcher drink. Couldn’t get to the melon bits at the bottom, too much ice. Also overpriced for what it melon, sugar water and half a pitcher of ice.
I was quite disappointed to know that they have a separate menu for zomato gold, and choices were limited in this separate menu. We just ordered their monggo P300/order and boneless bangus in bistek sauce P325/order since we are already here. Even though we were initially disappointed with the seperate menu, taste wise, we were quite happy with what we had. The monggo has an elevated taste, thanks to the chorizo and chicharon toppings. As for the bangus, there were 3 large pieces which was a good deal since it’s for half a price (since it’s a buy1take1 for zomato gold).
Not everything on their menu is included in the ZG promo, but what we got is pretty good. The Pork Binagoongan comes on a bed of eggplant and shrimp paste and was really tasty. Can’t help eating rice with it!The highlight of our meal is the Crispy Hito which comes with 3 dips and 3 big pieces of fish. Super sarap. Will definitely come back and try the other dishes! All in all, these 2 dishes with rice cost us about P460 with Zomato Gold.Use my ZG promo code if you want to save on your dining expenses when you eat with your friends!
