The beef is very hard to chew. Considering that we ordered the eat all you can option, the portion being served is not enough. Service is very slow. Veggies are wilted and not fresh. Value of money is not worth it. Very expensive yet not worth paying for.
LOVED my experience in Gyu-Kaku! Great quality of all food, from vegetables to meats to dessert. The serving size is just right as not to overwhelm you. Great service as well, great ambiance, and good price point.A+ for having a smokeless grill, you wont smell after dining in! 😉

The buffet seemed like a good idea when I read it from the different food blogs. But in reality, just go to cheaper unli bbq restos. The soup was watered down, the unlimited meat pieces were cut in unrecognizable shapes and sizes with no seasoning whatsoever. The dipping sauce couldn’t even redeem the bbq. You’re given 90min to eat here. This seems like a lot, but they first give you a meager amount of charcoal so you are only heating your meat right at the very center of the grill. The kimchi also didn’t taste right. I would rank this 0 stars if possible
For only P799 (for adults) and P599 (for kids 3ft and above), you get to choose from a wide selection of appetizers, salads, soup, meats, side dishes and of course, dessert. I was actually so glad that they have dessert as a lot of restaurants running these type of promotion normally would omit dessert out of the menu. frannywanny.com
Here’s the thing: the quality of the food is great, especially for the buffet price. But you’re probably wondering why did I just give them two stars? To be honest, it should only be one star, but the food was really good. While I have no issue with the price, it’s the way they tried to circumvent the law by excluding the senior citizen discount from their buffet promo. If you will notice from the screenshot, discounts are not valid based on the promo. They shamelessly included right of seniors with that. While the service staff and the manager were very accommodating, they were adamant about the the non-discount for senior citizens. In the end though, they gave the discount, but they’ll really give you a difficult time with it. I don’t know if they have been reported to DTI or if they even care about that at all. It’s quite a shame, really. They have a good product, but shady business practice. Better to eat somewhere else.
