I havent seen honey’s kimchi in such a long time. My mom and dad used to bring me here often when I was a kid but eventually the ones near our house closed. So when I saw this, I immediately lined up and ordered my staple beef bbq with rice and bean sprouts. I added some kimchi to add a bit of spice to the meal. Their bbq tastes exactly as how I remember it. A tad sweet and meaty. Such a nostalgic dish and they were able to keep the quality. Will be back soon. fatgirlsdayout.com
Kimchi (now known as Honey’s Kimchi) has always been one of my fondest childhood food memories. It’s one of the establishments you grew up with, and I’m glad they still have a place here at the Shangri-la mall food court. Today I decided I’d eat here again cuz I missed the flavor.I’m glad that the taste is still consistent with the taste I remember years back. The beef bbq has generous servings cooked in their signature sweet salty sauce using the humped grill. It’s also still served with their free soup. Such a good experience eating this 🙂
Tried thia again after 10+ years. The beef stew is still the best. Sauce alone can tempt you to devour two cups of rice. Price point is a bit high at php179 for a bowl of beef stew and a cup of rice compared to other stuff at the fastfood. snapsnstories.blogspot.com
