My experience was quite favorable especially with the ambience and quality of the food. I ordered the Creamy Spinach donburi which had a very flavorful topping which blended well with the fried pork. The coating was fried to perfection. The miso soup was the best I’ve tried so far out of many Japanese restaurants in Manila. The only downside I experienced was that the waitress did not explain the difference of the donburi I ordered VS the usual katsu set. I asked if the inclusions were EXACTLY the same as the katsu set (unli rice, pickles, miso soup and cabbage) and she said YES which I was why I ordered it. However when my katsu arrived, there was NO CABBAGE and the rice and miso soup was not unlimited. I would have called the server again but her shift was over so another waiter took her place.I think servers should be more knowledgeable about the menu, especially since this is a wel known establishment.
