Bought myself a chocolate walnut cookie from kookie korner and the first thing I noticed is that for the price I paid for it, it is humungous!! One would expect that cheap price + big serving = low quality, it may not be the case for Kookie Korner. The cookie was baked fresh and quite tasty, the nuttiness of the walnut blended well with the cookie dough. It had that grainy texture with every crumbling bite you take. The quality and chocolate flavor doesn’t change. Very underrated pero sobrang sarap ng chocolate cake nila! Eto lang saka Choco overload ng Conti’s yung masarap for me now. Balanse yung flavor. Eto nakakaadik kasi hindi matamis yung pagkachocolate. Sana di kayo magsara forever!

Located at the lower ground floor near the escalator / food court area.The cakes look mighty promising and at a price that will make established bakeshops run for their money, will certainly come back when i am in the area. ‘Ate’ in the counter was really nice too. Hope they get more clients.
I was looking for a cake to bring to our post-Christmas celebration. I didn’t want to buy from the usual bakeshops so I decided to go here. I saw their chocolate cake and ordered that one right away. The cake even has Christmas designs on top. And affordable at 510pesos for the regular sized cake. As for the taste, it’s one of the best chocolate cakes I’ve tasted. It’s moist and I love the filling inside.
Kookie Korner is house to one of the best polvoron’s I have ever tasted, at a reasonable current price of 9 pesos. My favorite is the cashew polvoron; unluckily, the company has phased this one out. Like, too bad, phasing out your best variant. But the others (specifically, ube and butter) are also good — firm texture, right amount of sweetness, no flour aftertaste. Kookie Korner likewise makes moist and delicious chocolate cakes at relatively cheaper prices.
The Shangri-la Plaza branch of Kookie Korner is a stall in the area between the food court and Rustan’s Supermarket. It’s right next to a more popular cake shop. Truthfully, I haven’t bought anything from Kookie Korner thinking that the more popular bake shop is better.Somebody gifted us with 1 whole Carrot Cake. I knew right away it was going to be good when I made the first slice because it was soft and a nut got in the way of my knife. This impression was reinforced as soon as I bit into the cake. It was soft, moist, flavorful and teemed with nuts. The icing was very thin too. The sweetness of the cake and the icing were just right.From now on, I would consider Kookie Korner when buying a cake at Shangri-la mall. Popular doesn’t always mean better.
