I used to always eat here when I was in college (2016). I remember us eating twice to thrice a week in Hwaroro because of its affordable price plus it’s a buffet. Giving it a good 4 stars for all the memories and of course delicious meals I had shared here with my closest friends.
Kinda disappointed because their tables and seats are untidy, plus there are little cockroaches roaming around the ground.
This used to be a nice, authentic, and a clean place. I don’t know what happened to them. It makes me sad. This used to be my favorite Korean place. Food was good, service was fast. But now, the place is a mess. They couldn’t keep up with the high demand and influx of customers. Food is below average. No more Korean flavor in their foods. The place is dirty, their fridge where they place their cold cuts are infested with cockroach. I saw it after we finished iur meal and I wanted to vomit 🙁 please have this place inspected by a sanitary officer!That tiny dot is one of the cockroaches I saw in the meat fridge 🙁
I liked this place before. We always used to eat korean bbq at this place but the beef always runs out and it takes a long time to refill. Hope they do better
I was able to try Hwaroro back in college. That was in 2013. It was actually good back then. I ate there awhile ago and boy, I was sure disappointed. Just like the other reviews, the place needs to be cleaned. The food was ok I guess. It wasn’t as it was before.
Will definitely come back here. I like the menus. If you’re worn out eating samgyup, you can choose fried chicken, alis umay then game na sa samgyup. Lol. A lot of options aside samgyup
We tried to eat eat here, but when we came in:1. There were no visible waiters or staff.2. There was only one couple eating, which made it very suspicious3. When we examined the buffet table, there was a cockroach freely crawling on the spoon.Yes, we drew the line at number 3. Honestly, this place seems like it’s just waiting to be closed down.
