Barley & Vines is one of the newest places in the Wilson area. My cousin recommends this place because it’s a little cozy, small and has a chill vibe.We stayed on the second floor and pretty much occupied whole of it. Though we only order drinks, the service was really fast because there’s one server stationed on the second floor – making it easier to order additional drinks.I will likely go back whether alone or with friends. It’s that chill. —Went to Barley and Vines for a quick family gathering. My tita ordered the following dishes for everyone along with two buckets of San Mig Light and Pale Pilsen.Street Platter (Php 150) – This platter was a good dish if you want to kill time. The platter had fishballs, kikiam and squid balls in it. It was served with a sweet sauce that is a lot better than those you see/buy on the streets. The sauce did a good job in making it taste better.Pansit (Php 200) – Though it was oily both visually and in taste, it had a very rich savory flavor which made me want more. I think I finished half an order of this dish.Maximo Fried Chicken (Php 400) – Their version of fried chicken reminded me of the usual Chinese style fried chicken. I liked how it wasn’t oily so you’ll get to eat more of it. The insides were juicy, too.Beer – I liked that it was served super duper cold.

This little nook is perfect for intimate dates, a night cap with friends, or with family. Don’t miss the garlic parmesan chicken wings, their tasty, crisp and addicting. Match that with a bucket of beer and you’re sure to have a fun night. fatgirlsdayout.com
