Cafe Tuazon is a cozy and homey restaurant tucked away from the busy hustle and bustle of Banawe. It provides a nice place with affordable prices and scrumptious food. If you’re looking for food made with love and heart, this is the place to go. We ordered their new beef salpicao, crispy tofu sisig, mushroom dip with toast, chili fries, buttermilk fried chicken, affogato, iced tea, and americano. The crispy tofu sisig was fresh and flavorful. I loved the mushroom dip with toast with its crispy flat bread and creamy mushroom dip that was aromatic. Their chili fries was also not skimped on the toppings, well proportioned and crispy when eaten right away. The beef salpicao was served with some buttered vegetables and garlic rice. I loved how the beef was tender and served with perfect amount of crispy garlic, something I never came across. (I love garlic.) The garlic rice was also aromatic. Their buttermilk chicken was very juicy and tasty and crunchy. This is truly a must try. We got to try their carbonara and their pesto also. The carbonara was fragrant, rich, and creamy. The pesto was fresh with aromatic herbs and bouncy delicious shrimp. Affogato was delicious, ice tea was a lot, and the americano was just lovely. It was fragrant and smooth. Not acidic. I will definitely return here, and I recommend everyone to try their food. They are relatively new and continuing to develop their menu with a balanced set of various dishes.
