My partner and I checked Brown’s after some recommendations from our Katip(s) friends. I ordered basil pesto pasta with additional chicken, while my partner ordered perfect plate and spam fries. We both love and can’t get enough of the fries. The shitake mushroom pasta is flavorful but tends to get a bit heavy after a few bites. The basil pesto pasta needs to work on bringing out the flavor of the basil more and reducing the oil a bit. The chicken is tasty although the taste somehow resembles Chooks to go. Servers are courteous, but we often need to call their attention twice (understabdable since we ate on a Sunday afternoon).Overall, we had a pleasant experience. The food is okay for reasonable price and their serving is ample too.
I’ve been putting off my review for months since I first came here because I absolutely didn’t enjoy the experience and I know I wasted money. The iced tea tasted as if it was made from crushed vitamin C chewable tablets. The garlic smashed potatoes were bland and dry. The pot roast beef wasn’t even tender. I had high hopes for this place (maybe because I expected the options for dining at Katipunan and Loyola to be really good) but I know I’m not coming back to eat here.

Best comfort food pasta!
Food is pretty good, it’s my go to place with my friends. The ambience is nice and the staff is really friendly. The food is a bit pricey however it is worth it considering the complexity of some of the dishes on the menu.
