I’m excited about this restaurant but I’m quite disappointed with their main courses.Chicken Salad. The sauce taste bland and sad.Pesto and Chicken Sandwich. not a fan but it’s okay.Tuna and Tomato Pasta. the meatballs are really hard it feels like they just got it the freezer and reheated it.Tapa Bulgogi. The meat is tasty but it’s kinda chewy.Cakes (box of 6). the cakes are good but it’s really pricey for me.DrinksChocnut CoffeeCalamansi and LemongrassCaramel MacchiatoChocolate Caramel MacchiatoThe drinks and cake are okay but the main course needs some improvement. I hope I can go back in the future with some improvement.

The first thing that I’ve noticed on my visit here was the old interior design and displays. Even the lighting was not too impressive though the windows are big enough from the light outside. It felt like a typical neighborhood cafe.Coffee Beanery can be found next to Cravings and on the same bldg of CCA, a culinary school. I expected a lot from what we had here because obviously, I love trying out new place and expect it to be awesome. The food that we had were as follows:*Chicken Salad – Veggies were dry as well as the chicken strips. Nothing special with this.*Pesto and Chicken Sandwich – A bit okay for me because the serving was generous naman.*Tuna and Tomato Pasta – This was the most boring pasta I’ve ever encountered. Sauce wasn’t even taste good, meatballs were like heated in a microwave. When they served this, we felt sad by just looking at it.*Tapa Bulgogi – Beef was not tender, egg was hardly fried, not even half-cooked. *Cakes (box of 6) – Their cakes were the only good food that we tried. Not that too impressive but okay na.*Chocolate Banana Shake – It turned out that they didn’t have banana so I only got a typical chocolate shake.I think that this place was not worth the dayo if you came from a far place. May e their coffees are good, on the other hand, because those are their specialties. But seriously, they have to work on their food as more restaurants now serve better and affordable cravings for everyone. hungryherl.com

The Coffee Beanery is located at the ground floor of the CCA building. Katipunan Ave., Quezon City. I did expect a lot maybe because they are in the same bldg. with CCA and it’s a well-known culinary school. The Pesto Chicken Sandwich is good. The Chicken Salad was ok. The salad dressing was good. The Tuna & Tomato Pasta is bland. Even from looking at it you would know. The color was very pale. Also the meatballs are so dry.The beef of the Tapa Bulgogi was tough and hard to chew. And the egg was overcooked. The cake was good. I would love to have it paired to a cup of hot coffee. But the sad thing is that they don’t serve decaf. For me I think a good coffee shop should have a decaffeinated coffee. But maybe it’s just me. —Tapa Bulgogi – Php180 ⭐⭐Chicken Salad – Php180 ⭐⭐⭐Pesto and Chicken Sandwich – Php180 ⭐⭐⭐Tuna and Tomato Pasta – Php180 ⭐⭐Cakes (box of 6) – Php500 ⭐⭐⭐⭐Chocnut Coffee – Php150 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Calamansi and Lemongrass – Php120 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Caramel Macchiato – Php160 ⭐⭐⭐⭐Chocolate Caramel Macchiato – Php160 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Last venue for my meeting. The choco caramel was a hit! Coffee is one of the best! Asked what coffee bean they are using, it’s the No. 1 coffee bean in Australia, Di Bella Coffee. Site to visit this store again.
