Food is better than other Chinese restos. We had hotpot with veggies, squid balls and shrimp balls. The staff was thoughtful enough to add more plain soup to our broth when we were reacting on how spicy we made it.For more food, we had steamed dumplings (shrimp and pork), fried dumplings, fried rice, spareribs, lemon chicken and sweet and sour fish (lapu-lapu). We thought the food were beyond what we expected. They have big servings. Their dumplings are really full of the filling! The fried ones are not oily. I personally like how the sweet and sour fish is not the usual cream dory. Lapu-lapu is really good. The lemon chicken I feel balanced all the viands we had with its sour sauce and plain chicken.Every viand had its partner sauce. And we really enjoyed them also. They offer hotpot sets if you feel lazy picking the vegetables and meat for the hotpot. But we opted to choose our own since we had someone with us who came here before and knows what’s good. The staff were very accommodating from the moment we came inside to our requests and in finishing.Went there lunch time on a Saturday and there weren’t much people. Though this place, maybe a little to hard to see since it’s inside the old BIR building in Makati.Only nega would be there were some insects flying to our food inside (but the place is closed, airconditioned). We had to shoo a fly which went to our table three times. The servers also helped in shooing them away and in making sure that in the end there wouldnt be any more insects flying inside.

We have been here a couple of times because it is just walking distance to our auntie’s condo. Our staple order is a hotpot in sate soup with clams, beef, fish cheeseballs, sea cucumber, beef tendon, taro, spinach, watercress and if there’s fresh and not cultured shrimp we’ll add it. Servers are accommodating. We also love their friend squid and lumpiang shanghai.
