For years I had heard about a place called Ate Rica’s Bacsilog from various people. I finally stumbled across a branch and had to try the famous Bacsilog. It was tasty, filling and only 69 pesos. Try it if you come across a branch sometime.
I don’t know what to say because I just want to rate Ate Rica’s.. It always leaves me happy. I learned about it on the UST Campus and I’m so glad I work near DLSU so I get the chance to eat here from time to time.
Their bacsilog is one of my favorite budget meals. It’s very affordable yet very tasty. Their cheese sauce really gives a kick in the dish. A must try!
Anyone who’s ever been in DLSU or DLS-CSB has heard of this goldmine. The absolute best Bacsilog in Manila, you should definitely try this. You’ll never regret it.
Nothing special, easily replicable. There is a hype going around their “cheese knor” sauce, but thats all it is, hype. Its meant for students who are on a budget and would probably fill you up, but it just misses out big on the taste part.
Been wanting to try this, so glad I finally did. Ordered for their bacsilog and tapsilog variant. It’s not the traditional silogs that we are accustomed to but I liked it.
Started eating at Ate Rica’s during my DLSU days, its nice to see they finally have their own place and have even expanded into several branches. I ordered their classic bacsilog and asked the server to have it well done. They gladly obliged and served it with their signature cheese sauce. The egg was served with the center of the yolk to be soft and runny just how I like it. The bacon was cripsy and the sauce and knorr topped it. It’s still good but its a lot sweeter than I remember. It seemed to have less cheese and more sugar than before. fatgirlsdayout.com
