I ordered sinigang take-out and though it tasted okay, I found ants stuck to some of the veggies and pork meat. I also noticed that small cockroachers were all over the small coffee maker machine. When I told one of the employees about it, he went over to the machine and swatted the cockroaches with his bare hands like they were flies. I ain’t eating in this hellhole again and students nearby should also take heed. Whoever owns this joint should do something because good food means nothing when sanitation is comparable to satan’s armpits.
Pretty good food, try chicken curry and pinakbet. Atmosphere is pleasant, good AC, self service, clean. It’s one of those reliable restaurants that are good for cheap lazy dinner days.
Their Grilled Liempo was passing-mark okay. It was a long wait to be served something simple though they had a TV upstairs to keep me entertained. Serving size was acceptable and there wasn’t that much fat. Reception for the basketball game I watched was filled with static. Air-conditioning was fairly strong. Service water and sauces are self-service. (Nov 2017)
Cheap yet good food! Fast delivery also. Must try Caesar Chicken Sandwich! Very sulit!!
Their pork sinigang is great! You should try it. The place is cozy enough to provide you with some atmospehere to compensate for the come-on-it-is-a-must-to-take-a-break point.
Cafe Alfonso is located between tower 1 and tower 2 of GT. It is beside D’Cream. It has two floors but only the second floor is the dining area.My friends and I used to eat here all the time since it was near my friend’s condo. The staff are nice. My personal faves would have to be the pansit bihon (which isn’t dry like other bihons) and the pork adobo which is very tasty and savory ❤️
Wide selection of food, it covers breakfast to dinner and in between those meals. My first time here so I tried their buffalo wings, 3pcs wings comes with rice and dip. The sauce and wings is perfect. For the price of 100 I would say its really worth it. Also, their salt and pepper squid is good. The only missing is they don’t have free soup but they do have sinigang in their menu. Would definitely be back and try the other food choices.
