A boardgame cafe with excellent food?? This place has it all! *screams* chicken teriyakii!!! No extra charge for playing boardgames which is very considerate to customers who do not wish to play but would like to test their menu. Their staff are extra friendly too. I think i have a new favorite go-to taft cafe now ❤️
I have no problem with their food and service it was amazing. What killed my dining experience was their customers. The place is full of weaboos. They are shouting since they’re playing to the point I cannot even hear myself anymore.
It was my third time there, there were no corkage fee, but now they added it and it was tremeandously pricey, much more expensive than the food they serve there.
The shakes watered my crops and walked my dog.
Went there for a friends birthday, servers were very attentive and friendly, food was delicious, it wasnt as well ventilated but it was still a great place to hang out with friends.
For a board game cafe, I think it would be better if the staff actually knew how the board games are played. Maybe it’s a generation gap though (I’m not that young I guess, haha), as most of the games are unfamiliar to me. Still, I think they should at least be able to give us some basics in playing Uno, or Uno stacks, of cards against humanity (the more popular games in the deck without game manuals), the list goes on. We ended up getting kiddie games which had easy to follow instructions. And the noise, ohhh, where do I start? I can’t fully blame the cafe for this though. But really, you have to shout just to be heard. The food is just okay. Very affordable. We ordered a group meal, which includes several pasta dishes and viands; plus iced tea and dessert.
Awesome place to hang out with friends! The staff were super friendly. Food was also great! Plus, they also had a wide selection of board games to choose from!
