I’ve only tried their cheese roll and its so darn good. Every bite is a soft, pillowy, comfort to the tastebuds. I think i could eat 5 of this without getting tired of the taste. The caveat? It’s a bit expensive.
i wanted to try this since i read on spot.ph that their caramel slice is good, it is in fact, on the 3rd spot, but i was so very disappointed, i cannot taste a hint of caramel in it, the texture sure is good, but it is so bland, i couldn’t even taste a hint of butter in it, i expected it to be like estrel’s caramel cake, but it was nowhere near it, in fact it doesn’t taste like anything because it doesn’t have a taste, really disappointing.I also bought the cheeseroll, it was quite good, really soft, but i cant appreciate the 3 kinds of cheese in it, the ensaymada was good and pillowy soft, buttery’s puff was good, kinda pricey. I can get the same goodness in other stores but not with these hefty price tag, love their packaging though.
For a sweet treat tonight, I got to try this relatively new dessert establishment in Megamall. They offer various kind of bread and pastries including their own version of the popular Porto’s in the States. Their Buttery Puff does have some similarities to the Porto’s brand. It just needs tweaking on coating and filling. I suggest having a more caramelized crispy outer layer and a sweeter element to enhance the 4 kinds of cheese inside it. Buttery & Co. also sells premium egg tarts, cake slices, mamon and cheese rolls. alwayshungry.ph
One of the best pastries I’ve tried. They have cheese rolls, cheese tarts, ensaymada and mamon. A bit on the pricey side, but worth every peso. Buttery and soft, it’s like biting into a cloud. Go for the cheese puffs and cheese rolls. Mmm.
Buttery & Co have amazing buttery’s puffs! I would rate them a 10/10. I went to the US before and I had some puffs too from Porto’s at LA. The puffs there were super amazing. Buttery and Co’s own puffs actually taste the same as the ones from Porto’s so I am so happy that I can have these kind of puffs here in Manila. They’re a bit pricey but my are they heavenly. 🙂
