What we had:Spinach and Cheese QuesadillaLechon Kawali MexikaninLechon Kawali BurritoAll dishes come with chips as side and it tastes really good with the salsa. The quesadilla was really good too, as well as the lechon kawali mexikanin. I had my boyfriend have some of the lechon kawali mexikanin and he said it was rather mas sulit than having it in a burrito. But overall, we were very satisfied, it’s value for money. The staff were were nice and friendly too. We’re very excited to try more of their menu, and we’ll definitely be back.
A fusion of mexican and Pinoy, they have a good concept but simple execution. What I ordered was simply fried pork liempo coupled with mexican rice, dips, and chips. The pork liempo didn’t really have any special seasoning, just what you would expect from a typical pinoy pork liempo. The mexican rice and chips also were simple, though I found the dips really tasty. Combined, they have good combination and complement each other well. The place is a bit small though, but the staff was friendly and fast. I would probably try this again for their tacos or burritos.
I was killing time in Podium (since I was too early for a foodie meet up) when I stumbled upon Madeca. Consulted Zomato and found out that it’s Mexican-Filipino. Without thinking, went inside.Ordered their Nachos with Salsa and the iced tea.The hospitable cashier slash server brought the food to my table of which took some photos of and started wolfing down after. The nachos were not the common ones which you buy by the kilo nor were they fried wonton strips. They were better. And the salsa? They were the real mccoy, well, at least it tasted like it didn’t come from a bottle. The petite store is simply furnished. No extra effort to make it breathtaking. Madeca is solely counting on their food to bring in the diners. And they’re doing good in that aspect.
