This is a good place to try Korean food. Price is affordable and their food has always been good. Ordered a lunch box, which comes with a cup of soup, spicy chicken, baby potatoes, fried egg, rice and salad. I always asked them to have the egg well done, but still worth every penny.
Bought their hotstone bibimbap and kimbap. I love how big their serving is that it satisfy my tummy. Also, I like how fresh everything is. I hope they have their own place soon (like a restaurant) since the food court can be too crowded sometimes. 🙂
TLDR: Misleading display menu and pricing, food is good thoughBought the Omurice meal displayed as P99. The picture shows a plate of omurice, soup, a side salad and a tonkatsu cutlet with a big P99. sign beside it Then in small characters below, it says you have to add P50 for the tonkatsu cutlet. Tricky bait and switch upselling modus there. In fairness though, the food was good. From the omurice to the sesame dressing side salad to the tonkatsu pork cutlet. And it came on an unnecessarily large plate. Kinda embarrassing to eat on such a huge plate. If you can see the picture attached, the huge plate barely fits the food court tray.
Super disappointed with their kimchi jiggae!! I myself do not like wasting food. But man that was too much to handle. I also noticed some sanitary issues with their kitchen.
My daughter was craving for some ramen and I saw that they have some kimbap too. The Beef Ramen tasted like your ordinary ramen from thw supermarket. Spice was tolerable. The kimbap was a disappointment. The rice was like it was leftover rice, parang may tutong na. The only saving grace was the salad. I love their dressing.
I was craving for some korean bibimbap and found this stall in SM foodcourt serving korean food. We ordered Dolsot Bibimbap (Sizzling Bibimbap) for P119. After 3 mins its already served. For me servings is just enough, taste is just basic and nothing special.
Oriental Seoul is perfect for those who are craving for some Korean food but need to stay within the budget. It’s foodcourt food and very affordable so it doesn’t really have that authentic Korean taste especially to people with discerning taste buds but still, until you can afford Korean food in better restaurants, Oriental Seoul will do.The servings are already good for two people and priced at just below P150. The noodles of their ramyun is basically just like that of instant noodles but I was still satisfied with the taste of their seafood ramyun. We also ordered one of their omurice dishes. Overall, our bellies were satisfied. Happy tummy is the best tummy.
