The grill of samgyeopsal might have won the hearts of many but this hotpot is worth a try. I ordered seafood with spicy soup and shanghai noodles. I like the entire cooking experience.
The only hot pot I have ever tried is the one in Tong Yang. I have never been a fan of thick soups, so I was really happy this was just very light. To say that everything is fresh is an understatement, it literally cooked in front of me and I even was there to witness the unpacking and tallying of where they purchased fhe produce. Perks of being early, I guess?
I decided to have lunch here earlier today. I ordered the pork shabu shabu, 125php. It comes with a small bowl of rice. The taste was good and the serving was big enough for one if you’re hungry.
Budget friendly shabu shabu ,nice broth ,beef is tender, fishballs, squidballs are tasty.Very nice outlet if you want hot soup and meals, refreshing.
Panda Shabu Shabu was something new to my eyes at Megamall’s foodcourt hence tried. No regrets. We were so full and the taste was not bad. Had seafood shabu shabu and it has squid and fish in it. The amount of rice included looks small but was just enough. I wasn’t able to finish everything on my plate cause I was already full. 🙂
Nung una na cute-tan lang kami sa kainan, kasi tuwing nakain kami sa may megamall foodcourt ang dami ding nag oorder neto. So sabi namain okay, try natin next time.. And then that’s it, the taste is good, hindi maalat hindi din matabang yung timpla, kahit sa sabaw sulit na siya. I ordered Pork Shabu Shabu, and I’m happy with the taste and also that I tried it.
Shabu Shabu budgeted worked for me. I was expecting too much artificial but I got a similar vibe to the more expensive counterparts. The Beef Shabu Shabu had decent amount of tender beef strips on top of ample noodle and vegetables. The soup was lightly flavored and ready to welcome additions like satay sauce, chili, raw egg and their own version soy sauce. The staff though wasn’t familiar with these additions and that will fail a newcomer’s Shabu Shabu experience. The egg is Php 12 and the satay Php 10. I think it should we included. The counter provides an efficient flow with Chicken based soup ready and so does other toppings and they boil it in front of you. alwayshungry.ph
