Good weekend buffet. Sashimi is good quality except the uni. Ugh, they shouldn’t store several days spoiled uni in fridge behind the sushi station. Turned liquid soft and brown. Throw it away!! Beef teppanyaki could be higher quality and not so chewy. Service always attentive.
I ate here for a lunch meeting 3 days ago. The food we ordered were all equally amazing especially the thinly cut pork with garlic and veggies and of course the beef. The beef was to die for; it was so tender as if it was melting in your mouth like butter. It was cozy and the place was deserted on a Monday at noontime. Though the dining area was intimate and private and the door was closed, the staff were so loud and noisy which defeated the purpose of a serene and private dining experience. But overall, it was a great dining exp!
The dinner at the Senju was nice but no wow-experience. We ordered one of the set menus and all of the food came in at once. None of it was special. The staff didn’t explain in which order you were supposed to eat the food so we had to figure that out by ourselves. The drinks were ok but nothing special. I think the whole experience was a bit overpriced to be honest. Beautiful restaurant and nice staff but other than that nothing I would recommend.
This is a decent japanese restaurant. They serve good rolls. The dragon and crazy maki are good. They offer lunch sets. Service is great. They have buffets during weekend lunch. The got good oysters, unagi, and rice bowls!
I had a nice dinner with my colleagues. Place is good. The ambiance. Waiters were polite. But one thing caught my attention, esp because we have guests, the serving time is pretty bad. Actually the desserts were served AN HOUR after. And to think that it looks like a 5 minute prep food. It’s really noticeable despite the good talk w the people around the table.
