What was striking during my visit in Yayoi was the use of tablets to read the menu and place my orders. No worries though if you get confused because the staff can help in guiding you how to use the tablet.I ordered the katsu toji teishoku and the serving size was enough to make me feel really full. I kinda regretted getting a half-serving of the ebi roll but that tasted good so fine with the extra calories. I liked the miso soup and weird-looking salad in the teishoku. What impressed me even more was the katsu because of the special plate that they used. Even if I was already halfway through eating the dish, the katsu was still piping hot! I liked the sauce and creamy texture of the eggs that were mixed into the katsu pieces. Will try the other teishoku options when I return here.
It was super cool that you could order your food from a tablet. Downside to this when you’re in a big group is that it’d take a while to find every order. The quality of their food is great! We tried a lot of their food. Can’t remember what we ordered anymore but we tried their bento boxes, noodles, rice bowls, and dessert.
