Filipino food lovers will definitely love this place! Comfort food at its best. Tried their calderata, pork sinigang, and lechon kawali and they all taste like home.Definitely going back there again.
Silyo is one of the new restaurants in Lamp Quarters and their specialty is Filipino. We booked here for Mother’s Day lunch and phoning in early was a good call due to weekend + holiday people traffic. Seems like the place is popular for families.Sizzling bulalo was the star of the spread, but theor other dishes were good as well. Place is homey and fresh looking.Place: 4/5Food: 4.5/5Price: 4/5Service: 3.5/5
We were very impressed with the sisig. It has the same taste as Aling Lucing’s sisig in Angeles. Aside from sisig, we also tried their pinakbet and binagoogan. All of the food we had were delicious. Service was fast and the staff were very attentive. We also got the chance to talk to the owner and she was very candid and friendly. Ambiance: 4/5Cleanliness: 4.5/5Service: 5/5Taste: 5/5Value for money: 5/5
We order here all the time when go to Lamp Quarters because is where food is familiar. Good is good but serving is not that big so it is kind of pricey.
Had dinner at this place last night. Ordered bulalo, puso ng saging, chicken, and dynamite. Nothing really special about this place. Foods weren’t that good, waiters were a little noisy, rude and careless. Only positive thing is that the place is actually clean.
Our goal is to try all the resto in Lamp Quarters and we decided to try Silyo. Some of out friends told us that food is good and the Pampanga cuisine that they’re serving is authentic but this gave us a letdown. Their sisig is ok but not worth the price. Same with dinuguan. Not happy with the service. Rating this resto 2 for now.
Ate here with my family. The food tastes good but the service of the staff here is irritating. You have to instruct them to provide us plates, spoon and forks, water, tissue and even condiments. We ordered sisig, pancit with sisig, kare kare and sinigang na salmon. There’s only 4 of us so we were not able to finish all of the food. We brought home the pancit and others. What irritates me the most is that the plastic container where they put the pancit has either a perfume or soap in it. The whole pancit tastes like perfume!
