The place is so cozy. It’s just that when we visited this place, the latte was served warm and americano was too bitter that three creamers and three sugards were not enough. However, their all day breakfast is something that you should give a try. Will try to visit again. Hopefully, coffess will be served better.
-AC was not working properly, waiter was sweating from across the counter. -Restaurant, tables and chairs look dirty.-Waiter was not attentive.-When I was about to leave, I was carrying a lot of stuff and could barely open the door. The waiter saw me, turned his eyes to a different direction, and didn’t help me.-Food was ok, not worth the price. -Bad dining experience total.
The place looks nice and cozy. The coffee’s legit and the cakes are good. The gelato’s really good too, I tried the Ferrero flavored one and it was pretty nice. Unfortunately the ambient music they have in here is horribly off. It ruins the whole mood of the place.
Panalo yung ambience. Pero yung choco lava cake, parang hindi siya para sa akin. Or baka masyado lang akong busog kaya hindi ko siya na-enjoy.
Good food & drinks and owner was nice. BUT OMG the staff keeps on playing EDM / Pop music from their phones and it’s soooo inconsiderate. We asked them to lower the volume SEVERAL TIMES & the volume they’d adjust to WOULDN’T MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE. Plus they weren’t accommodating even if it was obvious we were annoyed by their music choices
Everything is so-so. Nothing special about their pasta, coffee or even their lava cake. Everything is plain. I think the only upside in going to Afters is their great ambiance and fast internet speed. Other than that, no reason to go back there. Another thing they have to improve on is that they do not accept debit card transactions.
