Yummy Food! Great Serving! Reasonable Price! if youre looking dor a great filipino cuisine! Specially The Bistek Tagalog!!! this resto is a MUST try! me and my wife surely back to eat!!!
Dined here on a rainy afternoon and what would be more perfect on this kind of weather than to have a bowl of lomi.Ambiance was good. But I found that partition of tables near the entrance weird since it separates some tables from the view of the crew. That becomes a problem when ordering or following up on something as the staffs will not see you. I advise customers to not sit there.Service took sometime to complete my orders.Lomi was good served hot with a lot of meat. Serving was a plenty. Chicken longaniza was just so so though.I would go back to try their other dishes as I only had a quick one when I was stranded.
What started as a small restaurant in Makati Medical Center around 50 years ago has now rebranded themselves into the filipino comfort food scene. The small place had a lite and homey feel. The food was great. We ordered classic favorites such as Adobong Fried Rice, Pork Sisig, Fried Chicken, Gambas, Beef Salpicao, and Gising-Gising. The meat were sumptuously juicy and tender. I personally loved the thick coconut milk of the gising-gising. The fried chicken and adobo rice were good for 3-4 persons with huge portions. This restaurant offers great food and memories, and will definitely vie into the mainstream filipino restaurant industry.
A quaint little Filipino restaurant that offers your traditional Filipino dishes with all-day Filipino breakfast food and some non-Filipino items like Ebi Tempura and Milkshakes. The ambiance was great but the set up was a little cramped but the servers were accommodating with the refills. Generally, I don’t crave for Filipino food, but this place seemed interesting and caught my eye. For sharing, we had the Pork Sisig, Garlic Fried Chicken, Gambas, Beef Salpicao, Gising-Gising, and Adobo Rice. The food was generally okay, like what you would get from a decent home-cooked meal but the price does not justify the quantity or quality of the food. The menu is also misleading as most of the for sharing items are labeled good for 1-2 but can some of the dishes like the Garlic Chicken can easily serve 3. For their all-day breakfast, we tried the corned beef which was a bit scarce and tasted bland. We asked for the bill multiple times but it seemed that their system had some problems processing the transaction. I have no complaints regarding the food or the service but the price is just too steep for regular Filipino food you can get for almost half the price. Overall, it’s not a place that stands out for me.
Was researching the best resto in Ayala Malls 30th. I found this on zomato. Reviews and scores are high. I really expected much. I even read a review where they ordered all the best sellers and all were delicious. The servings are small for the price. The taste is so so. Maybe because I really had high expectations. The service is great, though.
Celebrated Mother’s Day here with my family. Went here because of the good reviews. Well for me, everything’s just average. Food was not bad but it was not great either. I’m not sure why everyone’s all praises. I have tasted better food with lesser price range. We ordered Crispy Pata, Chinese Mixed Veggies, Tempura, Pork Sisig, Calamares, Crispy Chicken Skin, Inihaw na liempo, Karekare, Pansit Sotanghon. Serving was small for the price. Ambience is okay, a little hot and the place is really small. Since food was just so so, I probably wouldn’t go back.
A little bit pricey comparing to other Filipino restaurants out there but definitely worth a try! Their daguan boneless bangus may be 680 pesos but it can feed 2-3 persons: very crispy and tasty.Sinigang na baboy was also perfect!
