Another hardworking Milk Tea shop has opened its doors to all the hooked tea lovers out there. This local franchise, Taste of the Greens, was born in Pampanga. They now have 30 locations and three of them are in Manila. What makes them unique is the emphasis on freshly brewed tea and the rich add on of cream puff in some of their beverages. Supreme Choco Malt Cream Puff is the best seller, a combination of bittersweet cocoa with a sweet and thick cream puff that you can scrape and sip.Other notable picks to go for is the Supreme Taro Smoothie, Roasted Cocoa Milk Tea, and the caffeine-rich, Ultimate Coffee Jelly Smoothie. For Fruit Tea, I recommend the tangy twins of Fruit Kiwi Iced Tea and Passion Fruit. Have it at 25% sugar so the sour taste is much more alive on every slurp. There are also Tastes of the Greens version of traditional Brown Sugar Milk Tea and the staple Matcha, theirs pumped up with cream puff. alwayshungry.ph
