Earlier, I was craving for ramen until I saw this in Mckinley. I was a bit curious of their ramen so I tried it out.Their crew is very friendly and approachable. The interior is nice as well. Food (Red Ramen) I am very disappointed in my ramen. I thought it is spicy but unfortunately, it is more on milky “soup” and I didn’t expect it. Well, if you like milky ramen then I think you will like it. Chicken Karaage sooo disappointed. It is like a fried chicken that you just make in your home. You will taste the calamansi and the salt. The breading? It’s nice. It makes your karaage bigger. To be honest, When I look at my karaage I thought it is big but nope. It is big because of the breading but when you eat it, it has a small amount of chicken.

Fully expected it to clash with the tonkotsu base. However, I was pleasantly surprised.The first taste of the broth gives you the kick of matcha. It eventually blends in with the whole flavor profile of the ramen. I also loved how al dente the noodles were. Only complain was that the karaage we ordered was a bit oily.Service was also prompt and waiters were attentive.Coming back again if I have a ramen craving. 🙂
Ramen here is good since it has various sizes. I always get the small or solo one. And if i want two flavors I choose 2 small and it is very worth it!
Compared with your usual ramen shop, mitsuyado sei men has a different approach with the flavor of ramen. The broth has a very thick broth, the serving is satisfying that it can be shared by 2 people. Since I was craving for a japanese curry meal, I ordered the tonkatsu curry rice. Well fried and the rice also has a big serving.They also provide a free miso soup and a hot or cold tea to choose from. Overall, it was a good and new experience for Japanese meal. Kudos Mitsuyado Sei Men – Venice Mall branch.
Decent ramen but not top of the class, karaage has way too thick batter/coating. Lunch set meals is good. Service is also good, staff are always friendly. #epicuRon
