Perfect way to end a rainy Friday evening, hot soup, noodles, veggies and meat. Serving was really generous. We all had our fill after eating a lot. I like the idea that each diner has his/her own pot to cook on since we all had varied preference. The pork and beef was juicy and savory. We enjoyed it a lot. Service was ok. The place was not too hot despite of all the cooking in every table. Great place to have a hearty meal and catch up with family and friends.
Healthy Shabu-Shabu is my go-to place whenever I crave for something hot, soupy โ- something that will make my stomach warm. This place is also for those people who are seeking for a family-friendly restaurant that is also healthy, MSG-free place. They have several branches across the metro โ- Podium in Ortigas, Power Plant Mall in Makati, another in Shangri-la Plaza Mall in Mandaluyong, et cetera. We got the set of Tenderloin. The set comes with a platter of the meat itself, seafood platter, vegetables and balls and noodles. You will find a better set deal for around Php 500-900 (depends on the variation of meat). The broth itself was light yet really flavorful. The best thing that we always ask for extra order is their squid balls. It has a really rich squid flavor to it that will make you want to ask for more. However, whenever they run out of their fresh sweet corn, they replace it with a young corn. Yes, the young corn that belongs to chopseuy which was totally quite disappointing because the sweet corn gives an extra sweetness in the broth, while young corn doesnโt. The whole dining experience was really good and youโll have plenty of reasons to come back. It extremely satisfied my shabu-shabu craving. The quality was fresh, really good. It was a tad bit pricey but very reasonable.
