My friends and I decided to eat somewhere near our place. Facio Cafe was still open at that time. I believe it was around 10:30pm. First of, the place was a bit small. There were tables inside and outside that could cater bulks of crowds but the spacing is typically created for a 2-3 people set up. Meaning, although they had the typical comfy sit-down-remove-your-shoes kind of set-up, the space for tables were still small. It’s a bit uncomfortable if you’re tall. They had these callouts with sayings and quotes that you can use to take selfies! We ordered waffles, ham and cheese sandwiches, nachos, and different frappes! The frappes we bought were taro, strawberry cheesecake, and black forest. There were no rice meals at that time since they ran out. The nachos were alright. It’s lacks a little flavor but it was delicious! The waffle was soft and thin in consistency. They topped it with whipped cream and drizzled it with chocolate syrup. IT. WAS. TOO. SWEET. The taste would have been better had the waffle been thicker and crispier but since it was soft and thin, the waffle absorbed the sweetness from the cream and syrup. Next, the ham and cheese sandwich. I never thought it would be possible but the sandwich was too salty. It was toasted but not enough. My friends and I were actually kidding about how the sequence of food intake should be. (Salty first before sweet) The frappes were without a doubt, too sweet. There was no balance between the strawberry cheesecake frappe. It just tastes like plain strawberry. The black forest was just right but it tastes different. The taro was too sweet. Again, the frappes were too sweet. The different flavors were not emphasized because of the sugar frenzy. Overall, I give it a fair rating. It’s new, it can still change and adjust its meals.
