  My daughter and I celebrated Mother’s day at Discovery Suites last May 11-12. During our stay, I got a complimentary 3 course dinner at 22 Prime.For my 3 course meal, I had vegetable soup for starters. I chose the USDA New York Striploin with mushroom gravy for my main course and got a slice of chocolate cake for dessert.While my daughter ordered, French onion soup, Open faced Angus Sandwich and Chocolate Goddess for dessert.They served us first with different kinds of bread and spreads. It was good, we just ate a piece or two.The soup were tasty. I liked the fusion of taste of vegetables – brocolli, potato, onion, etc. My daughter enjoyed her french onion soup that came with bread; the taste kinda reminded her of pizza.Then followed by the main course, my favorite. To my delight, the medium done New York Striploin steak was cooked perfectly! The meat was tender and juicy. My daughter was surprised with her Open faced Angus Steak as the serving was big. It also came with parmesan fries and salad on the side.When dessert arrived, we were so full. So, we decided to share the chocolate cake and brought the Chocolate Goddess to our room. The chocolate goddess is definitely a must try! It was so delicious, it didn’t take 10 minutes for us to finish it and we didn’t even bother to take a picture of it!Overall, the food and experience at 22 Prime was excellent. Their chef and staff were friendly, too. Thank you for making Mother’s Day a memorable one for me this year! We’ll definitely come back.

  Our family has been wanting to try their steaks,as we have heard from long ago that their steaks are really great. We got the Signature Platter (Angus Ribeye, Striploin and Wagyu Hanger Steaks); each steak’s weighing 180g-200g. We also ordered Sous Vide Octopus (which was kinda rubbery and nothing spectacular), Prime Caesar (which is just okay), Boneless Half Chicken (nothing special and was a little dry) and also Mahi-Mahi (which is too dry and for me,it’s really overpriced for its quantity and quality). However, their steaks are really outstanding,that’s why I’m still giving it a high rating. Plus the value for money–the quality, quantity and the soup (soup of the day was really superb), plus the sides and sauces that come along with the steak platter was soooo delicious. Also,our server (too bad I forgot to take note of his name) was really accommodating and mindful of his guests’ needs. We will definitely be back for their steaks!!

  What made our dining experience memorable in 22 Prime is the exceptional service of the staff. I would like to commend Kim, our server, who was very accommodating. She would explain each dish that arrived, ask how our meal was, refill our water without us asking, answer our questions politely, and serve us with a smile on her face. I appreciate how she went the extra mile in taking our photo and adjusting the chairs that blocked our way to take a good shot. More so, we were touched with their surprise anniversary cake. As for the food, we ordered Pan Roasted Mahi Mahi and Surf & Turf. The taste was good, but I wouldn’t describe it as remarkable.If you’re looking for a restaurant that has a romantic and peaceful ambiance with good service, you might want to consider 22 Prime.

  We went here on Valentine’s day. We ordered the Signature Steak Platter which has 180g each of USDA angus prime ribeye, wagyu hanger steak, and New York striploin. Everything was delicious including the soup of the day and potato gratin. Even their bread was good, too. For dessert, we had Chocolate Marquise and Salted Caramel Cheesecake, and also got a complementary bottle of red wine. The ambience was perfect for a date night and their service was superb. Had a great time here. Highly recommended.

  Went here for Valentine’s with my boyfriend. We ordered the Prime Tomahawk in medium rare. We absolutely loved it! We barely finished the whole thing (because it was 800 grams, ideally for 3 people). The sides were amazing, too. But the thing was, the menu on Zomato (and online) says it’s worth Php 5,700 when it’s actually Php 7,500 in their menu in the restaurant. Pretty expensive, but a good steak nonetheless. 🙂

  Rant part:Booked a table using Zomato since this place was recommended to me. I contacted their FB page to request if I could get a window seat for 2 since Zomato’s booking feature didn’t allow for notes. The FB page responded and got the branch to contact me for the reservation and everything was set. Unfortunately, when I arrived, the assistant brought me and my partner to a regular table. So I requested if we could have a window seat instead. The assistant allowed but informed me that a minimum order of Php 6,500 was necessary to get that seat. I said it was alright since I knew we were going to reach it. Review:Window Seat: it’s nice and gives you a nice view of Podium (lol), however, the seat is only beneficial for 1 person since the table is slanted in a way that the other seat is facing away from the window.Food:The Lobster Bisque was really good. Creamy and fill of taste. Scallops: Not really worth it since the scallops were kinda small and since scallops naturally have a very faint taste it’s not worth the Php 800++ price point for 3 pieces.Tomohawk Steak: Really worth it. The beef is tender and the portion is really good for 3 regular diners (maybe 2 for heavy diners).Truffle Fries: Has a similar taste and feel to potato corner fries haha.Overall: I would still recommend the place for the steak and the soup.

  We ordered the his and hers set meal a day after valentines. Food was ok but disappointing for its price. Your money would be better spent elsewhere.
