This is my go to hangover food. They deliver your food straight to your door. Plus this is the most convenient place where you can buy isaw in the area. Fell asleep one time and they weren’t able to deliver my food, next time I ordered they didn’t made me pay since they weren’t able to earlier even if it was my fault. Kudos to the staff.
Review 2: The owner re-invited me for a meal weeks back. It was a better meal the second time around, but still, they need to tweak some of their recipes. A big change would be changing their plain soy sauce for the Hainanese Chicken rice. The barbecue is a must have here, it was tender and buzzing with flavor. The chicken satay, on the other hand, lacked seasoning. It was a nice stick of meat without much taste. They have Turon in plain sugar at a good value. But I prefer the traditional way with caramelized sugar. Go ahead and pair this with their sweet Buko Pandan drink. Review 1:It’s one of the closest restaurants to my house. It used to be another food establishment, and most likely this will disappear as well if they don’t change their menu. They pride themselves with Hainanese Chicken Rice. Sadly, its nothing like it. The meat tastes bland, and portions were terrible. What I had were almost all bones. I also had a plate of plain Pancit paired with a stick of Chicken Satay. This was a tad better, but still not worth coming back to. I paid Php 320 for these, and really I would have gotten a better value elsewhere. alwayshungry.ph
Mamaztix has been a fine lease of life to Ortigas Center’s seemingly spiritless food locale. Their specialty, Hainanese Chicken, boasts a truly special, Asian feel in all its simplicity. The chicken is tender yet full of flavor even without the ginger sauce which, as it is, beats all other ginger sauces with its natural yet not overpowering taste. The dish is perfectly complemented by the chicken soup. My hainanese craving just became easier to fix. Pro tip: best paired with their barbecue and other off-the-grill goodies.
