Such a quaint and hidden space along Escriva drive. The waitress and the owners are extremely friendly and service is really good even if there’s only 1 waitress and the place is packed. Although the ramen is probably just instant noodles, they usually add a couple of ingredients to make it even more tasty. Highly recommend the jjampong ramen + kimbap or the cheese ttokbokki!
They say this place has nearest taste as of Korea’s! I was super happy to taste their food. They have such good Kimbap too! I tried Jjangmyeon for the first time here and I super loved it also.
They have the best gimbap, in my opinion. If you want huge rolls packed with veg and other fillings, there’s no other place to get it but here. I also call in advance sometimws for takeaway food. The owners and the wait staff are the absolute nicest. She shared her owm homemade kimchi with us once just because. Love their kimchi mandu and jokbal too. Not a lot of people know about this place and I wish it would stay the way it is forever. The decor (or lack thereof) adds to its homey charm.Highly recommend this place for no frills, legit K food.
I have not been in that restaurant for a long time so why not order Kimchi Mandu. Despite the clean and newly renovated place I saw a BIG RAT in the restaurant just showing up and hiding again. Also the Kimchi Mandu is overcooked the mandu skin falls off from the filling. I am not eating there ever again so better find a Korean restaurant with cleaner and well sanitized environment (don’t be fooled with the newly renovated place)
Before their food were a bit cheaper than the other nearby Korean restos but now they are already the same. The quality and quantity of the food is okay but there’s nothing special.
This is our go to local korean food joint after class. We kept coming back for tteokbokki, galbitang and mandu. We also tried mul nangmeyeon, and gimbap. So far, the most close to authentic korean food we tried. The place is clean and the waitress is very nice and accomodating.
