I was looking for a place to celebrate my parents anniversary and found about sobremesa being listed as one of the best restaurants to try in ortigas. The place is easy to find specially if you are familiar with the area, all the food which I preordered came out very well presented and were super yummy. The portions are also big enough for 2 to 3 people. Must try are the corn fritters, peruvian spiced chicken and barako coffee crusted ribeye. Very accommodating and attentive staff. Thank you so much Concon and Edmund for a wonderful anniversary dinner as well as to the admin of their ig and fb accounts. Looking forward to visiting the branch in feliz once open!
I’ve heard of Sobremesa because of their unli rib-eye promo. My friends and I didn’t try it but it seems sulit given that it is only 750php. We ordered their platter of chicken and steak, croquetas and chorizo rice. All were average except for the chicken which was disappointing. To think that they call it Peruvian chicken, it was very dry and bland. I suggest they serve it with some chimichurri or sauce. For the steak, it was just okay. It was not flavorful but at least it was not tough to eat. Price is on the middle to high side. The service was good, since we were just 2 or 3 groups dining. The waitress knows how to suggest and talk to diners so that’s a plus. The place was quiet with good music, and could be more intimate if only they dim the lights a bit more.
Tried their roasted chicken, and it was just fine. The quesadilla that came with it was better, and probably what you should go for rather than the chicken. It wasn’t bad, just that it wasn’t anything notable. They were also out of Mexican rice at the time, on a Saturday night, that’s not optimal. Others had their all you can eat ribeye, and it wasn’t the most well received, some comments had it as being too fatty. Service was pretty slow, considering we were one of two tables in the restaurant. I don’t really think I would have a compelling reason to go to it again
I love their steak! I first had it when my boyfriend and I we’re with friends. Second time was during our monthsary. I enjoyed their steak both times. I can’t wait to be back again.

Lomo Saltado – This is a dish that is best paired with rice! Strips of pork cooked in soy sauce, bell peppers, baby potatoes. The combination of sweet and salty taste will make you call for another extra cup of rice!2. Honey Pineapple Glazed Crispy Pata – This not your ordinary Christmas Ham! It’s a hybrid of Crispy Pata and Ham! 3. Lengua Estofado – soft, tender, ox tongue which was cooked to perfection. Each serving of the lengua is thick and it blends really well with the sauceSobremesa’s Christmas Packs are available starting November 25, 2017. For orders, contact sobremesa or mesage their social media accounts!
This is one of the newly opened restaurants near my workplace that serve unlimited rib eye steak (promo) the steak is, it is what we asked, cool interiors, but the staffs are nowhere to be found, I believe they lack of staff when we visited because the staff are going back and forth into the kitchen, also their cashier failed us to give receipts because the machine is broken. icaptureandeat.wordpress.com
My go-to meal whenever dining in Sobremesa is their Crispy Pork Belly. The pork belly comes with a cup of rice, a small salad on the side and veggie quesadilla. The salad and the veggie quesadilla tasted the same so I always end up not finishing this because it’s cloying. The pork belly seems to be smaller every time I order it and it only has a hint of salt.
