This place is never full. Most times, it is vacant. The culprit is the price and the so-so taste of the food. Average cost of the meal here is at Php 300 excluding the rice.If you are not into Filipino food, they have a small Japanese selection called ASAGAO Besteellers. Asagao is supposedly an already closed down Japanese Restaurant in Ortigas.Ebi Tempura at Php 295 for 5pcs. is actually a steal! Sauce was good too. This could be anyone’s go-to Ebi Tempura place in Ortigas CBD since Marufuku’s Tempura has gone so bad over the years. BUT the thing is: it is a sin to eat Ebi Tempura without the glorious sticky Japanese Rice. This is why the plain rice available in the restaurant did not cut it and just ruined the experience. You need to wash the prawns thoroughly.Best Ebi Tempura Places:#1 : Nihon (San Lorenzo, Makati)#2 : Kimpura (Greenhills)

I am satisfied with their Gambas and Sweet and Sour Fish. Service was a bit quick and servers were keen to refill your water. I wish they accept credit card payments.

Ok so I usually eat here with my boyfriend because of the food. Their sinigang is good! Pastas are good too!

Have already eaten here several times. The food is not worth the money. Serving size is disappointing, taste is so-so, and service is not always good.

Heard this place has some vegetarian fare so decided to give a try (I am vegetarian).Ordered a Pumpkin Soup and Adobo Kangkong.Totally happy about everything – service, cleanliness, ambience, food quality, taste, presentation and generous portion size, cost. They got everything just right.I am so definitely coming here again.

Took out a couple of dishes from here. While the Smoked Bangus was good, the Beef Salpicao was totally not edible. It seemed as if they put some very low quality beef in the dish and the pieces weren’t even cooked properly.

More food hubs are showing up and it is expected to grow further with more condominiums and commercial locations being put up. Vera is located just below a new residential, The Pearl Place. I had no idea they were serving Filipino until I sat down and grab their menu. The place looks like a cafe and it’s name felt it was as well. They serve your classic Filipino just the way it is. I got their Beef Kare Kare for Php 300. It’s worth your hard earned bucks with generous amounts of meat and vegetables. The sauce was really good but a bit watery. Some pieces of beef needs to be more tender as well. The Gising Gising was a steal at Php 135 and I highly recommend you take a chance too on this spicy vegetable. The coconut cream sauce was deliciously thick. I will come back to you and check out your Sinigang na Salmon sa Miso and your take on our Adobo. alwayshungry.ph
