I don’t remember the exact names from the menu, but I ordered 2 dishes (Taiwanese chicken and Pesto Pasta) and a dessert (Dark chocolate with toppings) here.Taiwanese chicken was dry, and rock-solid. I had a difficult time chewing the meat. Though, the chicken was crispy. The rice it came with was ok.Pesto pasta was ok. I wonder why half of the pasta was cold, and the other was hot? I can only presume it was microwaved. The chicken topping was good.Dark chocolate with toppings was the saving grace of this lunch. Not that great, not that bad. Sweetness was just right. Toppings were marshmallow and banana. Not fond of both. Hope they could add another topping, like crushed peanuts. I advise future eaters just to order the normal ice cream WITHOUT toppings, because the quality of theirs is cheaply looking and taste-wise, it doesn’t add anything.Added a star for the good customer service.
Yesterday, we were able to eat here using Zomato Gold 1+1 deal. We chose their sandwich called Philly Beef and Tomato, and their bestselling pasta Cheezy Beef Lasagna. I was so impressed by the size: both items are good for 2 people. Their french fries was sprinkled with what seems to be a Taiwanese salt and pepper flavor – it was the bomb and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The lasagna, meanwhile, is really meaty. It was flavorful. By the time we finished eating the pasta, my partner was already full. Lastly but never the least, this heartwarming sandwich tasted like pesto. It was the best sandwich I had in the longest while. It’s superbly done! All in all, I recommend Coldlayers cafe. Their tasteful dishes are worth a try.

It’s my second time to be here at Cold Layers Cafe and I must say that the food got better. A universe better.I did order what our foodie group had the first time and, I repeat, that there was much improvement on the Chicken Cordon Bleu, Creamy Chicken Pasto, Boneless Garlic Bangus and Fish and Chips (my favorite: Fish and Chips). And yes, there were also new menu items such as Koori Chicken Chops. It is actually café’s take on what is an Asian standard. Strips of chicken battered, fried and served with catsup and steaming rice. And the best part of it is that it’s only for P120 a pop.Cold Layers Café also its share of the Brown Sugar Craze with brown sugar pearls and they came out with three originals: Brown Sugar Milk with Salted Cream, Brown Sugar Milk with Grass Jelly & Pearls and the Original Brown Sugar Latte. We know for a fact that the restaurant is known, first and foremost, as a dessert haven. And they have a long list of bingsu fun preparations. But what stood out for me the Ube Leche Flan. It was a Halo-Halo deconstructed with halayang ube, cubed cheese and leche flan beside the purple snow bingsu. Another bingsu was Milk Tea Snow Ice sitting on a bed of egg pudding and black pearls. It was, I must say, creatively presented.
Had a chance to finally try Cold Layers Cafe while using my Zomato Gold. It’s really good to know you can avail any food item for their 1+1 deal! Sadly, Putanesca was not available but the Cold Layers pasta was a delicious alternative! The fish and chips serving was incredibly hearty and I struggled to finish it on my own. Make sure you sprinkle that lemon slice over your fish for the best flavour!
Tried their bingsu for the first time and those were actually good. However, it would be better if you can add some toppings of your choice.
