Lining the lively streets of San Roque, Marikina, 2015 Grill Restobar is a place that caters to both family, friends, or even those who just wants to unwind listening to live bands with some good company.Having the appeal of being a bar, they are also known to serve good food! Serving Filipino cuisine with some twist, it’s usually viands that pair well with a cold beer at hand, and some stories to tell. From caldereta, to lengua, tofu with seafood, up to the delectable torched sinuglaw, and the shrimp with salted egg and aligue, it’s a great place to satisfy all your cravings.The staff are friendly, and the live band playing will sure keep you entertained during your stay.
Don’t let the seemingly different neighborhood fool you, this resto is actually good. So went here one night with friends before going to the office to pick some stuff up. At first I was taken aback at how skectchy the neighboring establishment were. The vibe of the resto was also a bit different perhaps because it is not a plain resto but a restobar. Anyway, we got quite a lot of food coz we were hungry. Didn’t expect them to taste amazing but they were! My faves were the salted egg shrimps and the lengua (pork tongue). The deep fried pig’s head was also nice but kinda fatty for me. And their flambed chicken was also gooooodddd.Chill place to get some good food with your drinks. Perfect chill place, I would say.
