Place is good and the customer service. It’s a far cry from japanese cuisine but still ok and very affordable. I suggest this to those who are already familiar with japanese food but on a tight budget.

My husband warned me not to eat here since it is terrible when he did so. Craving for some chicken, I tried their ginger chicken bowl with rice and miso. On the photo the meat seemed the taste was pure chicken with a hint of giner only. To my surprise it was not! The chicken was soaked in soysauce and it tasted unexplainable, not even close to a Japanese dish nor Chinese! It means, I could not make anything out of its taste. One bite was enough to say that it was something not edible. I approached the lady owner and I asked her if she knew how that dish tasted and if she does not maybe she could taste it for me. She asked me if what she could do for me, I just said I wanted a refund. She asked her waitress to give the refund and did not bother to apologize. Talk about owning up.
There’s a newly opened resto at SM East Ortigas serving various types of tempura bowls and more for as low as Php99. Tempura is characterized by seafood or sliced vegetables coated with batter and deep-fried. Surprisingly, this dish apparently originated in Portugal (when the Portuguese introduced batter frying to Japan.

Fast service and big servings. I craved for Japanese food so I tried their Pork Tonkatsu. They serve free drink, unli rice and unli soup too! When I tasted the Pork Tontaksu, I was surprised because it was good. Will come back anytime soon!
Since I am craving for Katsu, we visited this resto, its good and affordable. Must try. Your 500 pesos is enough for 3 meals! Will go back again to this resto when we are craving for Japanese food.
