Quite underwhelming considering the high rating for the place. It’s hard to enjoy a meal when initially served with side dishes as though they came straight from the refrigerator/open chiller. Even the japchae and fish cakes were served cold. Meat cuts were good and service was great, but even with the unlimited drinks, we’re not exactly thrilled to go back for another try. There are other samgyup places nearby that offer more value for money and better dining experience.

Also, I am specifically particular with the cheese melt from sam shops, while theirs is better than KPub’s, I still find Romantic Baboy’s cheese the best.Drinks are refillable too including milk tea so if you are a heavy eater, I’d say it’s worth the extra bucks.

Cheers to a wide selection of quality pork and beef cuts. My 799 was indeed worth it. Recommended cuts: Chuck Eyeroll, Brisket, and Hanging Tender.The only downside was the time limit of 2 hours. Food: 5Price: 4Service: 3Ambiance: 4The food was great. They have premium and quality beef and pork for grilling. I love their side dishes as well. Price was good for this kind of meat but the quality service is quite not ok. The waiters are not attentive and the quantity of meat is too minimal per order (I suggest to do heads up order). The place is like other typical barkada-oriented samgyup place.
