Everything is good. One of the best tuna sashimi i ever had. The karaage was also good! Thumbs up! Thanks to the accomodating staff of this resto. We are sure we’ll come back soon!
Ordered the following for lunch:- Kisoya Special Roll- Crispy Spicy Tuna Salad- Tonkotsu Ramen- Tonkatsu Set- Tonkatsu Curry Set- Sushi and Udon SetI looooved their special roll, udon and katsu curry. Their set meals can be a tad pricey than what we would normally pay for, but we were able to book a 50% off slot c/o Eatigo, so score!!!Service was excellent. We had some leftovers and they allowed us to take it home; most Eatigo partner restos won’t.
The weather is too hot for ramen or Soba, so opted for sashimi – tuna and salmon and takoyaki. Both seafood are fresh and the salmon melts in your mouth. Tuna is fresh as well. The takoyaki’s squid is quite tough but it was served in a bed of veggies and more Japanese mayo so it’s ok. There are so many wonderful servers and everyone’s nice and jolly. Over all its satisfactory
I’m such a sucker for Japanese Curry dishes. So when I saw that they had them, I just had to try their Fish Katsu and Rice in Curry Sauce. It came complete with Udon Soup with Tofu and Seaweed, and some Kim Chi (nice blend of Japanese and Korean staples). This isn’t actually in the menu but the chef was kind enough to accommodate my request to replace pork with fish. Extra brownie points right there! 🙂
Food is great because it’s better than Yabu. Their seat meals are a bit expensive but once it arrives on your table you will be amazed how big their serving is. It tastes reaaaaalllyyy good! Would love to go back but hoping they could lower the price or maybe have unlimited rice and sides.
I rated this a 5 star because I think even if they Don’t offer the Zaru Soba Set, at PHP450 it is very Delicious and amazingly portioned, On its own at PHP220. Kimchi Udon Set was really good for sharing because the hot and spicy Kimchi Udon is Has good tasting soup and pork katsu and gohan and really compliments the soup. Their kimchi is really good too, I hope we could ask for more next Time. Maybe People Are not kimchi customers or maybe they want them to ask for more. Despite being at triple carbs, still good Japanese-Korean mix.
For today’s brunch, I visited this newly opened restaurant in the upgraded part of Robinson’s Galleria. Kisoya is owned by a local Korean which explains why this Japanese establishment gives complimentary Kimchi and serves Bulgogi as well. I got a Gyudon bowl, filled with generous amounts of lean meat. It was good but can be better with an extra seasoning on the beef. My free bowl of curry sauce made this order more interesting. I paired my rice bowl with tasty steamed Gyoza. The filling was delicious, it just had a really thick wrap. Kisoya’s main product are different kinds of Ramen. I’ll surely have that next on my second visit. alwayshungry.ph
