This was a pleasant find in Robinsons Galleria food court. I was looking for some traditional desserts and decided to try this. The vendor claimed that their bestsellers are the biko and sapin-sapin. They are P22 each. To fit into a box I needed to order four kakanin pieces, so I tried the ube Maja Blanca and ube biko. They were all P22 each which is a bit higher compared to unbranded kakanin sold elsewhere.I was quite delighted with the taste of the desserts. I liked the biko the most because of the right level of sweetness which blended well with the stickiness of the rice. The ube biko was good too. The ube Maja Blanca was lighter, softer and less sticky which was a good contrast. The sapin-sapin was quite heavy and can get quite tough when stored in the fridge.Overall I am happy with the quality of the food.
