Korean food, booze, and whatnot. If you’re into Korean beef (stuff like samgyupsal) that is cooked atop a smokeless grille or fryer, then this is the place for you. Situated in the center of Metrowalk’s entertainment complex, they offer an affordable menu of different kinds of meat you cook while enjoying your beers, conversations, and sofe dishes they offer.P350-400 for two. The reason why it’s for two is because that’s their policy for grill pricing. You need to order two viands priced at P300 to P400. Don’t worry, they offer a lot of side dishes that compliment the meat; it will leave you crawling out stuffed.Always ask for a refill of vegetables or side dishes. They’re generous enough to give you seconds; sometimes more.Affordable and tasty, these are the two words I’d use to describe this place.

If you love Korean like I do, Ortigas center offers a lot of options for you. The area has the highest density of Koreans and here there are many Korean establishments, not just food. Big Stone Grill is all about Korean barbecue and they do it with passion. The grills are significantly spacious than others and they give value with great portions at an affordable price. For less than Php 800 you can have two meats (pork + beef) that comes with a ton of free appetizers. The boiled egg custard is part of the complimentary and that alone is worth the visit. The meats are marinated well and it does make great impression even without additional gouchang sauce or honey. I also like the fact that they tilt it to take out most of its oil. A healthier way is always welcome, right? alwayshungry.ph

Been craving for Korean food and this resto did not disappoint. We ordered Chobeolgalbi (350PHp) and Saeng Samgyeopsa (380PHp). We thought it will be a light meal but oh boy we were surprised on the number of sides it included. It had grilled veggies, fresh veggies to wrap the meat in, 2 kinds of soup and the regular sides (like kimichi, sweet potato, etc) which you can get 3 times refill. Not bad for the price!

I am in love with korean food! This joint will offer set meals that are right on your budget! I will definitely recommend the set meal for pork belly! A lot of side dishes will be given to you and the staff will gladly refill it for you. No need for you to cook. They will cook it right in front of you 😉 I am recommending this place!! Check their menu for the prices!

We were supposed to eat at Ye Dang but unfortunately it was closed that time. We were craving for Korean food at the moment so we went ahead and looked for a Korean restaurant nearby and saw Hwa-Ro Big Stone Grill and decided to try it. First thing I noticed was their price were a bit expensive compared to other Korean restaurants I’ve been to. And just like some other Korean restaurants, they have a minimum order of two policy in their BBQ/grilled dishes. Which apparently I am not fond of specially on dinner dates for two only. But anyway we ordered our usual samgyeupsal and kimchi jjigae. Since they have a minimum of two orders on the grilled dishes, I decided to order chobeolgalbi which is pork ribs. I’d order some beef if only the price were cheaper. Their beef dishes cost 700 php! They have big servings though. I sincerely wish they waive their minimum of 2 order policy if the customer is a group of two or less. They also have a wide variety of banchans! I’ve never seen our table filled with so many different varieties of food. They have free side dishes of doenjang jjigae (if only I knew this we would never have order kimchi jjigae), steamed egg, kimchi and an assortment of other side dishes.Would we go back here? Hmm, maybe if we’re a big group. But a dinner for two? Maybe not. Don’t get me wrong, we enjoyed the food and ambience here but this place is better suited for big groups.Tips:- if you’re having a dinner here for two, be prepared to eat a lot- this place is better suited for large groups and it’s only fitting since it is located at Metrowalk- they serve free jjigae as a side dish, not sure if it’s always doenjang

Had really late dinner here with my girl friends. Ordered their braised hot pork ribs and stir fried octopus. Both were delicious and worth the price. Although, we asked the server if they could make the spicyness really mild, the after taste was still spicy. Like, I asked my friend if it was hot or is it because we’re eating something spicy. But, all in all, we loved the food experience. 😀
