After an outreach event nearby, last Friday, my team and I headed here for early dinner. Harong specializes in Bicol region dishes. So we got ourselves ready to test the authenticity of their recipes. Their best selling Laing turned out to be too strong for us. It was the only plate that wasn’t finished. It was salty and sweet at the same time. Ironically, it was not even that spicy too.Our table also got Sinampalukang Manok and Caldereta. These two were delicious. The former had a nice acidity to it and the latter had tender meat paired with tasty sauce. For dessert, we got an affordable plate of mini Turon (Php 85). It had a nice crisp and its flavored dip of langka was a good addition to it. alwayshungry.ph
