Chinese Comfort Food on a Rainy Saturday. We ordered old favorites. The new item we tried is the fried beef curry dumpling. You can ask for it steamed but it is most popular when served deep fried. The noodles have a chewy quality, it has some bite. Don’t eat quickly. You will feel the noodles settle and might realize too late that you ate too much. There could be more sausage in the fried rice. Delicious chicken lived up to its name.

With the inception of various ramen shops in town, I still make time to visit Kanzhu for their hand-pulled noodles. Kanzhu is famously known for their hand-pulled noodles, so naturally I ordered their Mixed Seafood Dry XO Noodles. The noodle was served with complementary soup to warm up your appetite. The Noodle was served really fresh, bouncy and was an absolute joy to indulge in. A generous serving of XO sauce and seafood toppings, complemented the fresh noodles making this dish an easy recommendation to noodle connoisseurs. While there are much to be desired in terms of the quality of the toppings used, they made up for it with their fresh hand-pulled noodles and reasonable asking price. TLDR: Order Mixed Seafood Dry XO Noodles, it comes with free soup. Noodles was consistently served boucy and fresh. Highly recommended to noodle connoisseurs.
For two people we ordered the beef noodle and tendon soup, the xo seafood dry noodles, pork and chive dumplings, and taho dessert with tapioca balls.Xo noodles: the best out of everything we ordered but I’d give it 3/5 starsBeef noodles: Broth was good but the serving portions weren’t that great. 3/5 starsPork and chive dumpling: This tasted very weird. It was cooked well but the flavor of the chives didn’t taste right. I don’t recommend this. 2/5Taho with tapioca: The taho tasted ok but the tapioca was horrible. It was so hard and gummy. We had to remove all the tapioca as it was inedible. 1/5Service and ambiance: Nothing special but the staff was good 4/5Overall score: 2.5/5
I’ve been eating here almost twice a week since 2017. Their ₱88 tea time promo is also sulit. Get their olive fried rice. It’s flavorful and packs a punch. You won’t regret it!
Whenever my family and I are in Hypermart, we choose to go to Kanzhu for their noodles. They have good service and they serve their food promptly.We ordered the eggplant noodles, pork dumplings, XO noodles, fried squid, and fried rice. It’s nothing too special, but it gets the job done and it’s not too expensive!
